Four years ago, I traveled deep into the jungles of Mexico to learn the ancient art of adobe building — to understand not just how to shape earth into home, but how to build in alignment with land, climate, and spirit.
What became Casa Luz began as a journey of learning — one rooted in humility, sweat, and a deep respect for ancestral knowledge. I returned with that wisdom and worked side-by-side with local craftsmen, sharing the techniques I’d studied and shaping every element of the retreat by hand.
Each brick was made from the soil beneath us. Each space was designed not just to look beautiful, but to feel alive — cool in the heat, grounded in storms, and quiet in its strength.
